Kiro CLI 2.27.0 adds workflow controls, live Steering context and prompt commands

Kiro CLI 2.27.0, listed in an October 1, 2026 changelog entry, adds configurable delegation for V3 with Workflows, live file and folder context in Steering, and saved prompts as slash commands. When Workflows are enabled, a new setting defaults on, allowing main chat to delegate directly to sub-agents or through Workflows; turning it off in /settings features limits that delegation to Workflows. Sub-agents remain available inside workflow steps when their agent configuration allows them. Steering supports whole-file references across surfaces, while CLI V3 adds one-line and line-range selectors and folder references that list one directory level. Referenced content loads with the Steering document, subject to the session's file-read policy. V3 also exposes workspace, global, and MCP prompts as slash commands, with argument hints in completion and prompt templates expanded before the text reaches the model.
