Salesforce opens Claude integration to all customers in beta at Dreamforce

The release is part of AIforce, which Salesforce describes as an interface layer that makes its data, workflows, permissions and governance usable inside whichever AI tool employees prefer. AIforce launches with Claudeforce, a Slack counterpart called Slackforce, and Agentforce Coworker.

According to the company, Salesforce in Claude is delivered as a prebuilt Model Context Protocol server inside Claude, meant to remove manual setup, authentication and skill-mapping work. Salesforce said each request runs under the asking user's existing permissions and that actions are routed back through its platform. Tableau analytics and skills for service, marketing, commerce and industry use cases are planned, and a separate plug-in for Claude Code offers more than 40 developer skills. Deloitte, GitLab and Legora were named as pilot users. The announcement did not give pricing.

The partnership was first announced on Aug. 26, when Salesforce said the plug-in was limited to selected pilot customers, with an open beta expected in September. Anthropic chief executive Dario Amodei appeared in the Dreamforce keynote, and Salesforce president Patrick Stokes demonstrated the integration on stage, trade site Salesforce Ben reported.
