Meta launches Meta One paid plans across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Meta AI
Meta on Sept. 15 introduced Meta One, a subscription service spanning Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Meta AI. Monthly prices begin at $2.99 for single-app add-ons, and the top business tier starts at $499. The company said its apps and everyday Meta AI use will stay free.
The consumer bundles are Core at $7.99 a month and Premium at $19.99. Both include the Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus perks and raise allowances for creating and editing images and generating video with Meta AI, as well as for tools such as Instagram's Restyle editor. TechCrunch reported that Meta declined to give exact usage caps, saying they vary by country, product and system conditions. The standalone Plus plans, which TechCrunch said rolled out globally in May, cost $3.99 for Instagram or Facebook and $2.99 for WhatsApp.
Four creator and business tiers, Essential, Advanced, Expert and Max, start at $14.99, $49.99, $149 and $499 a month. Meta said they add items such as a verified badge, enhanced profiles, story scheduling, exportable analytics, team access and greater use of its Meta Business Agent for customer messages.
Meta said plans are available globally, though pricing and benefits differ by region, app and account, and that it has logged 15 million subscriptions and trials to date. It plans to extend the service to its Edits app and AI glasses.
