Dutch litigators open Amsterdam law firm built around in-house AI drafting tool

Arvid van Oorschot, previously a partner at Vondst, and Jelle Drok, who worked on patent litigation as a partner at Freshfields, launched the firm in September, according to JUVE Patent. It will take commercial disputes, intellectual property, contract and liability matters, with patent cases and technology-related IP work as its core practice.

The founders built a platform they call Driven Drafter, which the trade publication describes as combining their own legal frameworks and experience with commercial AI models. Drok said the system is meant to join their legal domain knowledge with the best available AI safely. Rather than billing by the hour, the firm says it will quote fixed fees set against the time its software saves. The publication called it the country's first practice of this kind, a characterization that follows the founders' own account. The report does not give the firm's headcount.
